Pakistan to Host Sri Lanka and England for T20Is, ODI Tri-Series and Tests
Lahore, August 19, 2026: Pakistan is set for a busy home international season as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) prepares to host Sri Lanka and England across multiple formats. The tour schedule will feature a three-match T20I series, an ODI tri-series and a two-Test series, with matches taking place between October and November.
Sri Lanka will be the first team to arrive in Pakistan, with the visitors expected on October 4. They will begin their tour with a three-match T20I series against Pakistan at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
The T20I matches are scheduled for October 9, 11 and 13. After the T20I series, England will join Pakistan and Sri Lanka for an ODI tri-series that will be played in Rawalpindi and Lahore.
Pakistan, England and Sri Lanka to Compete in ODI Tri-Series
The ODI tri-series will start on October 18, with Pakistan taking on Sri Lanka at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Pakistan will then face England in the second match on October 20, followed by Sri Lanka versus England on October 22.
The teams will subsequently move to Lahore for the remaining matches. Pakistan will meet England on October 25, while Pakistan and Sri Lanka will face each other again on October 27.
Sri Lanka and England will play the sixth match on October 29. The two best-performing teams will then qualify for the final, which is scheduled to be played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on October 31.
This will mark Pakistan's second ODI tri-series in consecutive years. Pakistan previously hosted New Zealand and South Africa in a three-team ODI tournament in February 2025 ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy.
Sri Lanka to Play Test Series in Pakistan
After the conclusion of the ODI tri-series, Sri Lanka will remain in Pakistan for a three-day match in Islamabad from November 4 to 6.
The practice match will be followed by a two-Test series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The series will form part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27, making the matches particularly important for both sides.
The opening Test is scheduled to take place at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from November 9 to 13. The second and final Test will then be played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore from November 17 to 21.
Pakistan have already hosted one Test series during the current World Test Championship cycle. South Africa toured Pakistan for a two-match Test series in October 2025.
